It's hard to get out of the surf. You have to come in on one wave and fight the backwash to beat the next wave which is going to crash on your back if you're not careful. These two girls didn't make it but were unharmed.

- I've always made art since I can remember. Had my first show in the local library at 12. Over the years I illustrated some books, sold some work, and had some shows, but it wasn't until I retired that I went to school and got a Master of Fine Arts. The other students knew I was older than they were, but not really how much.
